Donate to the ReStore
Donations of new and used materials are the lifeblood of the ReStore. They can be dropped off at the ReStore during regular donation hours – Mon - Sat from 10:00 am - 3:30 pm. After hour drop offs are not allowed. They are considered dumping which is illegal.
We also offer free pick-ups of large item donations. Pick-ups are currently suspended due to COVID-19, but will return soon. Pick-ups are generally 3-7 business days out and are available Tuesday – Saturday 8:30 am - 2:00 pm, during business hours. Tax Deductible 501(c)(3) donation receipts are offered for all drop-offs and pick-ups. Other pick-ups can be scheduled by appointment only.
*Extra information for accepted donations:
Hollow core panel doors less than 28″ in width or less than 76″ tall will not be accepted. Hollow core slab doors will not be accepted at all in new or used condition.
Lumber and trim under 6′ long or with nails not accepted. Plywood under 1′ x 4′ in size not accepted.
Florescent lightning not PCB free or with oil ballasts not accepted.

Items deemed as hazardous to staff, volunteers, and/or customers cannot be accepted. These items can include, but are not limited to, broken or chipped ceramics or glass, dishes, or tiles; food and drink; frayed or exposed electrical wires; opened chemicals; and unframed glass and mirrors.
Safe Drinking Water Act information: Cannot accept dishwashers, but will scrap faucets
Non flat screen televisions are no longer accepted at our ReStore. TVs can be dropped off at the local landfill for $10.00 per television: Elkhart County Landfill.
Items in poor condition cannot be accepted. Poor condition refers to signs of wear-and-tear including but not limited to: rips; tears; stains; wear pattern; gouges; scuffs; rot or rust; and odors.
Items exposed to mold cannot be accepted as a donation EVER.
Unless the item is vintage, antique, or serves a noticeable re-purposing function, it must be in working condition to be accepted.
Some items brand new in the box/original packaging may be accepted even if it is on the list of unacceptable donations on a case by case basis.

Drop off a donation around the back of our store at the Donation Center. Located at 2910 Elkhart Road, Goshen, IN 46526 - Open Mon-Sat 10:00 am - 3:30 pm.
Please do not drop off donations outside of work hours. It is illegal to dump during off hours!
