Donate to the ReStore

Donations of new and used materials are the lifeblood of the ReStore. They can be dropped off at the ReStore during regular donation hours – Mon - Fri from 10:00 am - 3:30 pm and Saturday from 10:00 am - 5:30 pm.  After hour drop offs are not allowed.  They are considered dumping which is illegal.

We also offer free pick-ups of large item donations.  Pick-ups are generally 3-7 business days out and are available Monday - Friday. Tax Deductible 501(c)(3) donation receipts are offered for all drop-offs and pick-ups.  Other pick-ups can be scheduled by appointment only.

Where to Drop Off

Drop off a donation around the back of our store at the Donation Center.  Located at 2910 Elkhart Road, Goshen, IN 46526 - Open Mon-Fri 10:00 am - 3:30 pm. Saturday 10:00 am - 5:30 pm

Please do not drop off donations outside of work hours. It is illegal to dump during off hours!

We Pick-Up

The Elkhart County ReStore picks up donations from Cass and St. Joseph counties in Michigan and Elkhart and Noble counties in Indiana.  To schedule a pick-up call 574.533.1823 or fill out the online form by clicking below:

accepts cars, trucks, SUVs, RVs, boats, motorcycles, farm equipment,

*Interior or exterior solid wood or metal doors, with or without windows

*No holes or broken glass

*Hollow core doors must be free of holes & cracks, no water damage

*Patio Doors- Complete Sets with frames ONLY


*NO Electronics

*NO TV’s

*No Personal Computers or monitors


*Carpet-NEW ONLY


Must be securely bound or boxed

*Vinyl or Linoleum-new only

*USED Area rugs must be stain-free and no pet hair, vacuumed and bound


*Must be in working condition

*Nothing over 10 years old

*Gently used, like new or new
*solid wood preferred, any laminate must be free of water damage
*No bug infestations or pet hair
*No broken pieces
*No holes
*No pet hair
*No major stains
*NO used mattresses or box springs
*No Entertainment Centers




*limbers that are not rotting

Light Fixtures

*Complete fixtures only

*No broken pieces

*NO Fluorescent overhead light fixtures

*NO Fluorescent light bulbs

Medicine Cabinets

*Must have ALL doors

*No rust


*Framed or beveled edges ONLY

We reserve the right to refuse excessively large/heavy pieces for safety reasons


*File cabinets-must be unlocked and damage free

*household size desks must be real wood, no laminate or particle board

*No large office desks or cubicles


*No Paint of any kind

unless donated directly from a retailer and guaranteed unopened and never frozen.


*New pieces

*New or completely undamaged faucet sets only

*Water Heaters must be in working condition, newer than 2013 with NO dents, rust or body damage

*Showers/Tubs-fiberglass, new only

All other require visual inspection before donation approval.

*Toilets & Sinks- nothing rusty, cracked or broken


*New neutral colored shutters ONLY


*At least 6 foot pieces only

*large quantities must be bound


*Insulated Glass or Storm windows in excellent condition only

*NO Sashes

*None with broken or damaged frames or glass

Window Treatments

*No USED window treatments, curtains or blinds, NEW ONLY, must be string-less and have all mounting hardware included and be in a sealed package
